VERIFYING LOT OWNERSHIP

Before placing an ad on the properties website, we want to make sure someone else isn’t renting out or selling your property. To know that you are who you say you are, we request that you send us the phone number and email address that you have registered with Happy Trails. (You are not required to use the same phone number or email address in your ad; this is just for verification.)

Once ownership is verified you will receive further instructions via email – including login credentials.

If you are advertising more than one lot, each lot needs separate verification.

To request ownership verification, click HERE

LOGGING IN

1. Click on “Log In” link in red section near top.

2. Enter lot number and password.

3. Optionally, check the “Remember Me” box.

4. Click on “Log In” button.

Note that after logging in, you will be on the home page.

To create a new ad, see “Creating an Ad” below.

To edit an existing ad, see “Editing an Ad” below.

LOGGING OUT

Click on “Log Out” link in red section near top.

CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD

1. After logging in, click on “Site Admin” link in red section near top.

2. Click “Profile” on left black menu.

3. Make changes.

4. Click blue “Update Profile” button at bottom.

CREATING AN AD

1. After verifying ownership of lot, log in and then click on red “Post an Ad” button.

2. Enter title of your ad where it says “Enter title here”.

4. Enter detailed description in large white text field.

Make sure you are in “Visual” mode (select Visual tab – above upper right corner of large white text field).

FYI: “Text” mode is where you can see (and even modify – if you are so inclined) the HTML code that describes the layout of your description. If you are interested in learning something about HTML (Hyper-Text Markup Language), click HERE.

5. Upload one or more images.

IMPORTANT: The first photo in the list will be the one that displays in the primary image frame. If you need to change Photo 1, delete the current photo and choose the correct one.

If any of your photos are not properly oriented, see Reorienting Photos below.

6. Check appropriate category for your ad.

NOTE: Owners of RV lots with Arizona Rooms should be aware of the specific rules which were adopted in May 2019. You can find them on htresort.com under “Minutes & Resource Center” -> “Governing Documents” -> “Design Guidelines”. Scroll to page 42 to find “RV Port Homeowner Agreement”. The guidelines are important if you are selling or renting your RV lot with an Arizona Room. The information will help you decide whether to advertise it as an RV lot or non RV Lot. If appropriate, you can select both “RV Lot” and “Non-RV Lot”.

7. Tags: Select from most used or create your own.(Tags work to sort ads according to features. For instance, if you include the tag “2 Bedrooms”, whenever a visitor clicks on that tag (in any ad), your ad will be among those listed.)

8. Featured Image: IGNORE

NOTE that if you add a Featured Image, in addition to other images you’ve uploaded, only the designated Featured Image will display.)

9. Optionally (near bottom of page) fill in the Phone, Email, Lot #, Price and Contact Name fields. (If you decide not to fill in any of these fields, be sure that this information is in the detailed description.)

10. At the bottom you will see the Membership Protection dialog shown here.  DO NOT CHANGE THIS. This is meant for websites that only allow registered members to view content. If you select “Yes” and then “Property Owner”, thinking this will protect your content from being changed by others, only property owners who are registered on the site and logged in will be able to see your content.  Not helpful. Therefore…

DO NOT CHANGE THIS!
